Ventile Poncho

Has kept me perfectly dry walking and sitting in the awful spring weather. I've used it as a shelter; its a little small for long term but does the job for a night or two. Also works great as a ground sheet. I like to sleep on this and bring a tarp for shelter. This has quickly become an essential bit of kit for me and I never leave the house without it.

This garment will be so much more than just a 'poncho' for me. It'll be my go to weather resistant layer for working in the woods.

An excellent poncho, made to very high standards, which is highly breathable, sheds even heavy rain very well, and also stands up well to use in even strong winds. Hilltrek's customer service is also faultless. Both the poncho and Hilltrek can be highly recommended.

This was a very good purchase for me, the quality of the workmanship and materials is obvious. I have taken it out in two heavy downpours and it performed perfectly without any leaks. In fact the poncho is so good at shedding water that I have purchased a set of gaiters to protect my lower legs from runoff. Some people may feel it's too heavy but I think they miss the fact that in the right hands this can be used as a temporary shelter and can also be packed down to a reasonable size. Friendly and helpful staff and I like to support UK companies at every opportunity 10/10

The cut and oversize of garment is a positive aspect but weight of material negative - also material itself a bit „stiff“

Very sturdy and weatherproof. It kept me absolutely dry while walking my dog in a heavy downpour for an hour.
