The Bentu Plus Fleece is for outdoor people who need soft, comfortable, weatherproof protection in harsh conditions.
If you enjoy walking, a breathable, warm and highly water repellent fleece is key to adapting your clothing system in mixed conditions. Combine with the Bentu Windproof for waterproof protection in very wet and windy weather.
Worn over a baselayer, the fleece offers excellent protection in cooler, wet weather and can be combined with a Duology Windproof when it is extremely wet and windy, to form an adaptable waterproof system. It can also be worn as a midlayer under a Nikwax® Analogy® waterproof jacket for extra insulation.
The Bentu Plus Fleece offers a high level of water repellency, has generous pocketing, and a design that combines with the Bentu Windproof.
- The thick pile directional fabric, with a Nikwax Durable Water Repellent finish ensures excellent insulation and wet weather protection.
- Safe, secure storage from one easy access chest pocket and one internal drop pocket, both large enough to hold an Ordnance Survey map.
- Two zipped handwarming pockets provide additional storage.
Nikwax Duology Fleece is lightweight, highly wind resistant and has a durable water repellent finish suitable for use in light showers, protecting against mist and drizzle.
Nikwax Duology Plus Fleece is a thick pile, directional fleece offering superior insulation and high levels of water repellency. It actively pushes liquid water outwards, keeping you dry even in poor weather conditions.
A Duology windproof cuts windchill, deflects rain and traps still air in the fibres of Duology fleeces to provide varying levels of insulation and waterproofing depending on the weather conditions and activity. The fleeces come in two weights to suit different requirements.

A combination of Nikwax Duology Windproof and Nikwax Duology Fleece or Plus Fleece that provides warm, waterproof protection. Our Duology systems provide maximum adaptability across a variety of weather conditions and activities.
A Duology windproof cuts wind chill, deflects rain and traps still air in the fibres of Duology fleeces to provide varying levels of insulation and waterproofing depending on the weather conditions and activity. The fleeces come in two weights to suit different requirements.

How it works:
- Páramo baselayer is shown worn next to the skin, drawing water away to keep you dry.
- Nikwax Duology Fleece or Plus Fleece pumps water away from the body.
- Closely woven microfibre outer provides windproofing and Nikwax durable water-repellency. Air is trapped between Fleece and outer to give insulation.
- Wind and rain is deflected away from the body while perspiration and condensation as liquid water or water vapour can escape.
