Our new cycling gilet is a simple garment with great functionality. Our Single Ventile gilet offers wind and shower protection for those days when the weather may not be at its worse but you need a light, versatile top to keep off the chill and keep your core warm. Easily packed away for storage once you’ve warmed up but still there to pull back on if the weather turns
The Hebridean Cycling Gilet has useful pockets front and rear, a scooped tail to five good protection in a riding position and a close fit.
This gilet is named after The Hebrides - the diverse chain of islands off the West Coast of Scotland popular for cycle touring. The Hebrides are grouped in to the Inner Hebrides (including Skye & Mull) and the Other Hebrides (including Lewis/Harris and the Uists).

The following options are available to customise your garment (supplements apply):
Fit perfect. I have worn it every day on cycle to work. Ideal for the early morn downhill chill but equally comfortable on the uphill return. The ventile breathes beautifully without the claminess of plastics.
I have been using this for a few months now. First outing on a Hebridean Holiday in July and the rest of the time in and the Peak District for daily commute and longer rides. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Not for the warmest of weather, as per the description, but now my go-to cycling top layer. Don't hesitate. Get one!
An excellent garment: very well designed , especially the pockets, and made. I’ve just used it mornings and evenings on a 300 miles UK tour. It is quite bulky, so go to Rapha if you want something lightweight; but all round this is much more useful.
I ordered an inch longer in large as I am 6'2" and it fits very well. It has a useful pocket at the front and another in the lower portion of the back, and the neck is lovely and high to cope with the early morning cold. No cold neck flushing. I love the comfort and weatherproofness of the Ventile, as well as it's durability. Hilltrek have ensured the durability of the article by solid tailoring and sewing. I cycle into work every day, so the gilet is used on all but the coldest and wettest days, when arms are also needed. But for pure comfort and everyday cycling this is the go to item. Nearly every day.
It's a cool jacket, but I find the shoulders "narrow", the belly is alright.
Best regards from the Alps
