Competition: Guess the name of our Ventile® Gilet
Introducing our new Ventile® Gilet.
- Bellow Pockets: Two large bellow pockets at waist height offer ample storage space for essentials like maps, snacks, or gloves.

- Double Ventile(DV): Two layers of Ventile cotton to protect the wearer.
- Storm flap: Shields the main zip from water ingress and wind, ensuring the gilet remains functional and protective, even in adverse weather conditions
Designed for use in all weathers, the new Ventile gilet is a perfect for a range of activities including walking, trekking, photography, nature watching, bushcraft and hunting.
Customise your gilet
The gilet can be further customised by adding various options to suit your requirements.
Available as an added feature, hand warming pockets keep your hands warm on chilly days, enhancing the overall comfort of the gilet.
Shown in taupe, a wide range of colours is available including premier colours.
To achieve a perfect fit the gilet length can be adjusted from standard lengths.
Guess the name
Continuing our tradition of naming our clothing after iconic Scottish mountains and places, we're running a competition to name our new Ventile Gilet.
Let us know your name suggestion, along with a description and maybe a couple of your own photos, telling us why you have been inspired by this name and what makes it ideal for this great new product.
Competition terms and conditions
Entries are to be made by 31st July 2025.
Entries need to include your own name and your suggestion for the name of our new gilet. Please make sure that you don't choose a name we are using already. If you wish, include a couple of your own photos of the place if you've been there.
Only one entry per person.
In the event of multiple identical suggestions, the winner's name will be drawn 'out of the hat' at random.
Entries should be emailed to sales@hilltrek.co.uk
You agree that we can use your name and photos on the Hilltrek website and other advertising material as part of promoting the new Ventile gilet (we won't pass your email to any third parties).
All entrants will receive a 10% off voucher to be used before 1st November 2025. (*note voucher cannot be used in conjunction with another offer or with our Made to Measure service)
The winner will receive one of the first production gilet worth up to £345.
