We are now using Royal Mail Postal Delivery Duties Paid Solution (PDDP) for a list of European countries and the United States.

Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) is a service whereby Value Added Tax and duties are handled by Royal Mail and Royal Mail's overseas customs authority/delivery partner so that you the customer do not incur any additional cost at the doorstep.

This service has two main benefits:

Firstly the process through customs is smooth and secondly you are fully aware of the costs of the product when you place the order.

How Does This Work?

The PDDP service allows Hilltrek to calculate and collect from you the customer at the checkout an additional amount that will cover the cost of Value Added Tax(VAT) and customs duty, if any, alongside a PDDP handling fee. Royal Mail convey the items to the delivery partner in your country and upon arrival any VAT and duties are calculated by your customs authority and then billed to Royal Mail. Royal Mail then pass these on to Hilltrek, including a handling fee per item. 

Please note that no duties are charged on Hilltrek products in the EU, Switzerland and Norway.

Shipments to the United States

We are working on a system to collect duties at the point of order for customers placing an order from the United States. 

Until this system is implemented we will contact you before shipment to collect the duty and import charges which can be paid securely on-line.
