Ventile Face Mask is a face covering made from Double Ventile available to the general public for personal use.
Two versions in a wide range of colours are available - elastic strap for attaching to the ears or cotton ties to tie behind the head.
Cotton ties allow for adjustment and are suitable for all size of heads whereas elastic may not be suitable for all.
Three sizes are available - Small, Medium, Large.
Ventile is a tightly woven cotton fabric which is water proof and highly breathable. Ventile was used in surgical drapes, operating gowns and theatre clothing before the advent of poly cotton and disposable plastics.
A metal nose bridge allows close fitting around the nose.
For small numbers (1-5) allow 7 days for delivery, for over 5 please allow 14 days for delivery. This applies to the total amount of mask ordered including junior masks.
The Ventile Face Mask does not replace PPE for health care workers. This mask does not contain a filter as we do not want to deprive professional users from limited supplies of replaceable filters.
Not recommended for asthmatics due to restriction of breathing.
Ventile Face Masks can be washed at 60 degrees however the colour will fade and elastic strap attachments will degrade with frequent washing.
Wearing a Ventile Face Mask does not replace protective measures such a social distancing, hand washing and refraining from touching your face.
For every face mask sold we are donating 10% to a charity local to our business in Aberdeenshire.
